From 1993 to 2003, Mr. Hilborn was a Senior Vice President and the General Counsel of Urban Shopping Centers, Inc., a publicly traded (NYSE) fully integrated Real Estate Investment Trust engaged in the development, management and ownership of regional mall and mixed use projects, and of Urban Shopping Centers, LP its up-REIT limited partnership and Urban Retail Properties Co., its property management, development and leasing subsidiary.  In addition to his duties managing all legal affairs of the Urban companies, Mr. Hilborn was responsible for administering the property taxes on Urban’s portfolio of 24 regional malls and mixed use projects in excess of 22 million square feet having an aggregate value in excess of $3.4 billion.

Prior to 1993 and since 1972, Mr. Hilborn served in similar capacities for the privately owned predecessor to Urban, Urban Investment and Development Co., a developer, owner and operator of more than 14 million square feet of office and 4 million square feet of hotel properties in addition to its retail portfolio.

Mr. Hilborn received a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University in 1968 and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
